Q 1. When will they stop selling the scratch card for the 2010 JAMB UTME?
A. The form sale will close on January 2009.

A. The new JAMB UTME examination has been slated for April 17, 2010.

Q 4. I am having Invalid Serial /Pin Number
A. It could be that the Jamb server is down or you put Serial number where you are supposed to put pin number or vice versa. If you still have the same error after you have confirmed that the order is correct, try again later maybe in the evening or early in the morning.

Q 5. I made mistake in my UTME registration. I used my name in place of my surname
A. If you make any mistake that has to do with personal data especially name, you may not be able to change it. You will need to by a correction of name card at the rate of N2500. So be careful with your personal data.

Q 6. My username and password invalid when I want to login
A. Maybe you enter the wrong one try to enter it with capital and small letter. Or better still, if you have not saved the username and password before, try to start a fresh as a new user with the serial and pin numbers.

Q 7. I heard there would be no post UME test! Is it true?
A. Well the information available shows that is true. However, some ASUU control institutions are still pushing against this. So, we have to watch out.

Q 8. I am filling my form and the site is bad now
A. Try later especially early in the morning or later in the night.

Q 9. I finished filling the form next was to submit what I saw was invalid serial/pin number.
A. For the card to enter in the first place shows that it is valid. The problem is that Jamb site at that time was busy. You have to try again later.

Q 10. I tried to submit after the registration then I normally get please retry or contact the number on your card.
A. The problem is that Jamb site at that time was busy. You have to try again later. May be you have to outsource the registration.

Q 11. I want to ask whether there is Jamb preparation question on line.
A. I guess there is none. You can get past questions in Bookshops.

Q 12. What is the minimum requirement for entry into any tertiary institution under UTME?
A. The minimum requirements for entry into any tertiary institution under UTME are five Ordinary Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics where applicable.

Q 13. Can candidates apply again after admission?
A. Once candidates have been admitted, they would not be presented for consideration in subsequent admission exercises.

Q14. Who is qualified to sit for UTME?
A. Those who have attained age of sixteen or would do so on the first day of October in the year of his/her candidature.

Q15. How many years can one use a UTME result for admission?
A. A UTME result is for only one academic session.

Q16. Will their be post ume?
A. Well JAMB and other stakeholders say no but ASUU controlled Universities say they will. So, we have to wait and see.
